発表から2年の時を経てデリバリーへ
2015年のデトロイトショーでワールドプレミアされた新型フォードGT。2006年に生産終了して以来、9年ぶりに復活を遂げたこのモデルは、600psを発揮する新開発の3.5リッターV6ツインターボエンジン「エコブースト」をミッドシップマウントする、新世代のスーパースポーツカーだ。
そのフォードGTが初披露から約2年の時を経て、ついに市販車のデリバリーが始まったことが明らかにされた。
フォード・パフォーマンスの主導で開発された新型GTは、カナダ・オンタリオ州のMultimatic社で組み立てられている。待ちわびた世界中のカスタマーにはいいクリスマスプレゼントになりそうだ。
